Quetzaltenango: Where History and Devotion Converge.
During Holy Week, designated as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, Guatemala transforms into a living canvas of ephemeral art.  El Quetzal Spanish School was founded in 1998. Its headquarters are located at
7 calle 4-24 zona 1.

The school is located in beautiful Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, is owned by a purely Quetzaltecan family and is run by Glenda, the head of the family. Students of all levels are welcome!

Our goal is to create a professional and comfortable living and learning environment for our students where they can learn Spanish by connecting with the traditions, culture, politics and social situation of Guatemala.

At the same time, we work to improve the circumstances of the Quetzaltenango community through volunteer work, cultural exchanges and monetary donations.

Because we want to lead by example, we offer fair wages and a safe work environment to all our employees.
